Super Bowl Sunday
With kickoff just days away, the Super Bowl is starting to heat up. The trash to be talked, the history to be made, and why can’t I find a tv network dedicated to Tom Brady’s ankle?
The Giant’s Plaxico Burress has promised fans to shut the Patriots down, predicting only 17 points for them this game. The feat would be impressive, the Patriots have not lost a game this year and they appear poised to claim a perfect season. Moreover, the Pats haven’t been kept below 20 since December of 2006 in a rare shut out game and their last loss.
As for that ankle… Brady has been seen practicing throughout the week and has had no problem assuring us that Burress’ claims are inflated at best. In his free time, the golden boy has even had time to entertain the occassional marriage proposal from his adoring fans. Sorry, he’s a “one woman man.”
